Healeys are now one of only a few companies to become a Carbon Balanced Printer, allowing the total carbon footprint of a project to be offset.

As a responsible business, emissions are constantly being analysed and reduced where possible. However, there is an inevitable impact that cannot be reduced any further which has now been measured.

In accordance partnership with The World Land Trust the business offsets in remaining carbon footprint in a certified scheme in accordance with the Clean Development Mechanism guidelines as laid down in Article 12 of the Kyoto Protocol.

Many of the house range of materials are also Carbon Balanced so it is possible to totally offset a project at no cost. As well as being able to use the WLT logo alongside other environmental imprints such as FSC, Healeys provide a certificate detailing the amount of carbon offsetted and area of rainforest preserved.
