New Investment in Display Graphics and Bindery Departments

Due to continued business growth Healeys are investing in new equipment in Display Graphics & Bindery. Arriving on 15th May is a Fuji Acuity LED UV large format press. This is a hybrid roll to roll and flatbed printer- with instant drying this machine can print directly on to a wide range of media including banner material, foam board, plastics, aluminium,  and acrylics.

Printing in six colours for near photographic quality it also features opaque white and gloss varnish for some stunning special effects – samples comparators will be produced after install.

In November we will take delivery of a new stitcher – a Horizon Stitchliner- this will arrive straight from the stand at the UKs largest print show – replacing two machines including an 11 year old version of this model – This is 50% faster and has a size change over which completes in 13 seconds flat – this will allow faster response to increasingly shorter lead times.
