The Healeys Sample Room
With articles such as the Independent indicating that Britons spend more than 22 years of their life online, it is no surprise that organisations seem to be taking a more digital approach.
Although, as more companies decide to take this approach, digital fatigue seems to be growing alongside it. With data from the Royal Media stating that “2 in 5 people have reported suffering digital burnout. Consumers crave real, tangible ‘human’ interaction.”
Neuromarketing also found that viewers of both digital and printed media processed digital ads more quickly, they also showed a greater emotional response and memory for physical ads as they cause more activity in the brain associated with value and desire. Thus, it is important for companies to take advantage of this and continue to create print media alongside their digital strategies.
But do you know how your leaflets and books are created at Healeys? Healeys’ sample room is a space that is so invaluable for our team as we can invite clients, suppliers and students to come and visit us at the factory to showcase all that we do.
In our sample room you will find a full selection of printed materials displaying an array of our work. We showcase different processes and techniques to make what we do more visible. For example, showing different types of binding, stitching, lay-flat, casebound and side-sewing that our team offer. Our samples are in constant rotation, giving you many ideas of what is possible in print. Further to this the work is all from our ‘overs’ so there is no waste, supporting our environmental values.
At Healeys, we believe that students are the future, and that print can sometimes be a missed topic on their courses. We have the belief that print should work in conjunction with digital media, and feel it is an essential part of the media mix; therefore, at these open events, we hope to instil our passion for print and that students can walk away with an excellent knowledge of not only the benefits of printed media, but also the opportunities that the print world can offer them!
