Healeys have been awarded accreditation to the Suffolk Carbon Charter for two years.

The Carbon Charter is only awarded to companies that are implementing best practice measures for managing and reducing energy use and have already made significant progress along the way to becoming a sustainable company through clear reductions in their carbon footprint.

Ned Harrison, Low Carbon Economy Officer, says “.….the Panel have taken into account the anticipated savings from the new press, as well as the fact that you were already operating at “good practice” or better. They also particularly commended the staff incentive scheme for sustainability and the sincere efforts to engage with customers, whilst understanding the impact of growth and wider sustainability issues.”

He went on to add “Lastly I would just like to congratulate you on this achievement, and on your highly impressive environmental commitment.”
